Which student plan should I choose?
Start with Free to watch lessons on YouTube. For paid app access, choose the number of students who need access: R199/month for 1, R349 for 2, R499 for 3 or R649 for 4. Annual plans cost R1,000 for 1 student, R1,500 for 2, R2,000 for 3 or R2,499 for 4, billed per year. All four options include the same learning features; the number of student profiles changes.
What does each student get?
Access to the subjects in their selected grade, with pre-recorded HD video lessons, English and Afrikaans content, ad-free learning, web and mobile app access and email support. Browse the subject catalogue to check the lessons relevant to each student.
Does dorKk cover my child’s grade and subjects?
dorKk offers a Grade 1–12 lesson catalogue. Coverage varies by grade, subject and language. Browse subjects and check catalogue coverage, then confirm current availability in the app before subscribing.
Are lessons live, or can we watch at any time?
Lessons are pre-recorded, so students can watch at their own pace and pause or replay explanations. dorKk provides supplementary learning support rather than scheduled live classes.
Is dorKk a replacement for school?
No. dorKk supports schoolwork, homework, catch-up and revision with CAPS-aligned video lessons. It is not an online school. Use it alongside your child’s school teaching plan and practice work.
What is included in the Free tier?
The Free tier gives you access to the video lessons published on dorKk’s YouTube channel. You do not need a paid dorKk subscription to watch them. YouTube may show advertisements. Free does not include student profiles or the paid app catalogue.
Can students learn in English or Afrikaans?
The catalogue includes English and Afrikaans content. Check your student’s grade and subject in the coverage guide to see the listed language options.
Can we use a phone, tablet or computer?
You can access dorKk through the web app or mobile app. Check the app-store listings for device compatibility. Video streaming uses internet data; confirm download availability in the app if offline access matters to you.
Can siblings in different grades use a multi-student plan?
Multi-student plans provide separate student profiles. Check how to assign each student’s grade in the app before paying, especially if your children need different grades or languages. Email us if you need help confirming the right setup.
How do I subscribe, change my plan or cancel?
Continue to the dorKk app to create your account and select your subscription. Review the checkout terms for billing, renewal, plan changes, cancellation and refunds before paying. Contact support@dorkk.online if any terms are unclear.
